Bat-Fish Originals
This clothing collection is made from repurposed, reclaimed & vintage textile stock.
I often find remnant materials such as tablecloths, curtains, unused bed sheets, wool or woven blankets, dead stock bolts and more. I use material yardage that has had a previous life.
I am often inspired by the fabric type, be it a ‘natural fibre’ or a mixture of synthetic & natural or something exotic altogether! Texture, colour, the draping quality & the condition of the fabric in general, help me decide if it will endure becoming a completely new garment.
These textiles are then used to produce my unique designs that you see walking down the fashion runways, reflecting a sense of style & individuality.
